Yamanaka shares 2012 Nobel Prize in Medicine

Shinya Yamanaka, 50, of Kyoto University in Japan shared the Nobel Prize in Medicine with John Gurdon, for the discovery of ways to create tissue that would act like embryonic cells, without the need to harvest embryos.
