Venue restrictions added to S.1145 patent reform package

An amendment to S. 1145 by Sen. Specter tightening venue in patent infringement litigations was incorporated, over objections by by Sen. Cornyn.

Although Sen. Leahy seems to want to push S. 1145 right through, there is some opposition from other senators (including Sen. Feinstein) and from the Coalition for 21st Century Patent Reform.
