Johnson & Johnson's Cordis to pay Voda $10.3 million

In another patent battle involving Johnson & Johnson's Cordis, U.S. District Judge Tim Leonard (D. Ok.) awarded damages and attorneys fees to Dr. Jan K. Voda in the amount $10.3 million.

A federal jury decided in May 2006 that Cordis infringed upon three patents held by Voda in the area of angioplasty catheters.
