Roundtable on Sustainable Biofuels

A BusinessWire release notes that Cameron Myers has been elected to the Steering Board of the Roundtable on Sustainable Biofuels:

Solazyme, Inc., a leading renewable oils and bioproducts company, announced today that Cameron Byers, senior vice president and general manager of fuels and chemicals, has been elected to the Steering Board of the Roundtable on Sustainable Biofuels (RSB).

Prior to joining Solzyme, Myers worked for BP (British Petroleum). From BusinessWeek: Mr. Byers served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Bp Energy Company since August 2005. Mr. Byers served as Chief Operating Officer of BP Energy since April 2000.

Myers' degree is in economics: Mr. Byers is graduated with a Masters in Economics from Edinburgh University, Scotland.
