emgs sues Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping

Electromagnetic Geoservices AS (emgs), a Norwegian support services provider for the oil and gas industry, has launched a legal action in Great Britain against Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping PLC for patent infringement in the logging area.

This brings up an interesting jurisdictional issue as to "where" to bring a patent law suit when one is logging (or performing other activities) in the open ocean.
