Buzz for Apple's iPod

On Dec. 5, CBS Sunday Morning opened with highlighting Duke University's giving iPod's to the members of the freshman class. The story developed three reasons for iPod's strength:

1. polished technology
2. design
3. buzz

There was a question as to whether competitor's such as Sony, Dell, Virgin Electronics and Rio would catch up to the iPod technology.
