“We won’t be seeing The King for a while"

BurgerKing's "The King" logo/mascot/representative is out.

TIME wrote: The old ad campaign featured The King sneaking up on unsuspecting customers in dark tunnels and in their homes. It didn't really give a consistent message about Burger King's strengths.

Maybe "The King" was a really disconnected symbol, not merely inconsistent. Certainly not a high moment in trademarks.
