Koh says noh to saying "troll"

Jeff Roberts covers the story in Apple may not call patent troll a “patent troll” before jury, says judge but puts his own spin on things


All this raises the question, yet again, of whether the U.S. patent system is doing more to foster innovation or to award powerful monopolies to those shrewd enough to game the system.



IPBiz notes that evidence of invalidity of the patent claims can speak without the need for name-calling. Koh's ruling is not about "not fostering innovation".
