S.23 (patent reform) to be taken up around February 14?

In s post titled Judiciary Committee hoping to move patent overhaul in coming weeks, The Hill suggests the Senate won't take up S.23 (patent reform) until Feb. 14, 2011 at the earliest.

Over in the House, one wonders how the various new Republican Congressmen will view things like S.23.

See Hunter's goal: To bulldoze through federal government
. It's less than obvious that the newcomers will follow the old hands, especially wherein "patent reform" introduces the new bureaucracy of "post grant review." (aka opposition) Maybe some of the newcomers will see the heart of the problem: lack of funding (aka fee diversion) for the USPTO to do its primary job, examining patents.
