Momenta sues Teva

Momenta has sued Teva over claims of two patents which relate to ways of manufacturing and analyzing the structure of enoxaparin, the active ingredient in Lovenox.

Momenta partnered with Novartis AG’s Sandoz began selling a generic version of the Sanofi-Aventis SA drug Lovenox in July.

But note that Teva and Amphastar filed their ANDA applications with the FDA two years before the Momenta-Sandoz partnership filed. See Momenta Sues Teva Over Heparin Patents Enoxaparin is a specialized blood thinner.
