Abraham Lincoln and a different kind of patent

You can see it clearly in his [Lincoln's] neat, upright flowing signature on the document that returned Mission San Juan Capistrano to the Catholic Church on March 18, 1865, just three weeks before Lincoln's assassination.

The patent of title that bears the signature of the 16th president is one of nine that he signed during his administration.
