Solo inventor goes after 3 universities for infringement

An AP report notes that Soheil Sharafabadi filed suit "this summer" against the University of Idaho, Washington State University and Oregon State University.

Sharafabadi has one issued US patent, 4,980,186 [ Pseudoplastic yellow mustard gum ], which was filed on August 14, 1989 and which issued on December 25, 1990 . Although not noted by AP, Sharafabadi's patent expired on August 14, 2009.
