Sprigman involved in discussion of patent policies: Obama v. McCain

Chris Sprigman, UChicago Law '93 (and classmate of Jon Dudas and LBE) is representing the Obama side at a discussion of the respective Presidential campaigns' positions on IP and technology policy issues hosted by the IP section of the Colorado Bar on August 28.

Also speaking for Obama is the greatly confused Artie Rai. [One wonders where Mark Lemley was?] Opposing the two professors and speaking for McCain are two IP lawyers, Ed Reines and Ray Gifford.

Moderating the affair is Jonathan Alter, whose connection to intellectual property is unknown.

Sprigman's at UVa, the place that is tough on plagiarists (and infringers?)
