ABA-IP section on "patent reform" on April 11

Richard Meyer of Townsend and Townsend and Crew in Washington was quoted: "It seems Congress has bought into the characterization of the problem by a few very big IT industry players." IPBiz notes: with a little help from various professors including Jaffe and Lerner.

The text at CNET (Anne Broache) seemed to have missed the latest information from the Senate. Broache wrote: The discussion arrived as the Senate is preparing to take up its own version of patent law changes as soon as this month. IPBiz notes: unlikely.

WARF's Gulbrandsen: "Courts are listening to complaints of pro-reform forces."
