House Vote on Patent Reform Coming Sept. 7?
An AP report by CHRISTOPHER S. RUGABER is titled House May Vote on Patent Reform Friday and includes the text:
Drew Hammill, a spokesman for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D.-Calif., said Tuesday the Patent Reform Act would likely be considered by the House on Sept. 7.
The report also includes the text:
"We've spent three Congresses on this," said Steve Elmendorf, a lobbyist for the Coalition for Patent Fairness, a group of technology companies, such as Microsoft, Apple Inc. and Cisco Systems Inc., that favor the legislation.
