Terrorism plot foiled in New Jersey

U.S. Attorney Christopher Christie (otherwise known for his investigation into fraud at UMDNJ) will hold a news conference at 2:30pm on May 8 to discuss the arrest of six people who planned to attack the Fort Dix Army base in New Jersey and "kill as many soldiers as possible." The terrorists were arrested while trying to buy automatic weapons (AK-47s)in a sale set-up by law enforcement authorities.

Barack Obama, in a speech in Richmond on May 8, overstated the Kansas tornadoes death toll, saying 10,000 had died. Obama spokesman Bill Burton later stated that the senator meant to say "at least 10," instead of 10,000.
