Authorized generic deal on Imitrex

Reuters reports a deal wherein Dr. Reddy's may exclusively distribute the generic version of GlaxoSmithKline Plc's Imitrex tablets in the United States as it has settled a legal dispute.

This deal with Dr. Reddy's follows a trend among big drug companies to launch authorized generics when their drugs lose patent protection.
