According to a report in The Hindu Business Line from Kolkata on Tuesday (May 9, 2006), an attorney of the USPTO will be posted to the US Embassy in New Delhi, India which is intended to strengthen Indo-U.S. cooperation in protecting intellectual property [IP] rights. The attacheās job will be to work exclusively on furthering cooperation on IP rights, according to Henry Jardine, the U.S. consul-general in Kolkata.
