Super Vision and Color Kinetics still fighting
Further to a post on IPBiz on 16 Sept. 2005, one sees that Super Vision and Color Kinetics are still fighting about patent infringement:
Super Vision International, Inc. , a seller of lighting systems used in commercial lighting applications, said it filed a new infringement lawsuit against rival Color Kinetics Inc., seeking past due royalties and damages for violating a patent.
The patent on "Variable Color Lighting Systems" lies at the heart of the legal tussle and is related to color changing lighting systems.
The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, seeks past due royalties and damages for past and current infringement violations of the patent.
Super Vision said it acquired the patent from High End Systems, Inc. and is entitled to past due and future royalties on the patent.
